Greeting the dawn with yoga in Puerto Morelos.

Greeting the dawn with yoga in Puerto Morelos.

It truly does look like this at dawn here in Puerto Morelos. As with our stay here last year, my wife goes for a jog and some yoga first thing in the morning. My jogging days are done and I meditate instead of doing yoga. Long walks, a swim or two and sometimes simply sitting in the shade or sunshine seems to pass the day leaving us evenings to do other things such as connect with others using Facebook and Twitter.

With daytime temperatures reaching 29 C., we are ready to relax come evenings. I would like to say that I get busy with reading and writing, but the truth is I basically am exhausted by the full days. I know that once we have adjusted to the intense sunshine and heat, l will return to writing. The ideas, words and scenes are in my head ready to find their way into the novel, poetry and the blog site, ready and waiting for me to be ready.

  1. That is a nice way to be: ready, with no expectations.
